I wonder why you wish to hurt me, why your words always ache so bad.
Your tongue as sharp as a thousand needles, the kind of pain I rarely had.
If I'd describe you I'd say sibling, but in my mind I scream defeat.
Cause my actual description is devil, scorching my soul with it's searing heat.
But then you come with words of kindness, a joke, a chat, a nice long talk.
My soul relieved of all the heat, the ache fading away like chalk.
My head, dazzled with sudden changes, can only say a friendly word, but my restless soul will wonder; What has happened to all this hurt.
And I wonder………
